My name is Grant. After studying Mathematics and Philosophy at Hamilton College, and then exploring northern Europe and China by myself during a gap year, I moved to Washington, D.C. Now, I spend half of the day maintaining the functionality of decision support system software, and spend the other half exploring, improving myself, and pursuing personal projects. My passions lie in analyzing and solving future problems in the integration of artificial intelligence into the world.
We learn with language by writing, reading, listening, and talking. We learn with symbolism by deconstructing complex systems, applying them to metaphorical placeholders, and gaining understanding in a “mirrored” perspective. I plan to use this blog to do both, in order to develop and share ideas.
“Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing about.” -Benjamin Franklin. This blog is dedicated to my future biographers.
